Price change of Semnan plaster

Wholesale gypsum buyers are always interested in the latest news regarding potential price changes for Semnan gypsum. Will the price of this product increase by the end of the year?

Each year, due to rising raw material costs, energy expenses, and other production costs, the price of manufactured goods tends to increase. The prices of some strategic goods are influenced by political conditions and fluctuate in response to global events.

The gypsum industry also experiences price increases annually. The rise in gypsum prices is attributed to factors such as the increased cost of gypsum rock, transportation expenses, production costs, machinery maintenance, and labor. However, compared to many other construction materials, the price increase for this product is relatively small and typically occurs twice a year.

Generally, the new prices for different types of gypsum are announced by the union at the end of May and in mid-February. It is worth noting that the official price provided is for delivery at the factory gate, and transportation costs are added to this price.

The following is the latest price list announced by the union.

Greetings,

Following the decision of the union and after discussions, exchanges of views, and expert evaluations, and considering the increase in the price of gypsum bags, from 17/07/2024 the sale of gypsum bags, including value-added tax and factory delivery, will be according to the approved rates in the below:

1. Whitewash construction plaster / 25 kg / 300.000 Rials
2. Whitewash construction plaster / 30 kg / 360.000 Rials
3. Whitewash construction plaster / 33 kg / 399.000 Rials
4. Micronized whitewash construction plaster / 25 kg / 350.000 Rials
5. Micronized whitewash construction plaster / 30 kg / 420.000 Rials

All members, starting from 17/07/2024, are to apply and adhere to the approved pricing according to the table above.

The above prices are based on the gypsum offered in polypropylene bags, and in the case of offering the gypsum in AD*STAR bags, the bag prices will be calculated separately.
